On Monday, New Brunswick health officials reported 86 new cases of COVID-19 across the province, 67 of which were in people who are not fully vaccinated.
Thirty-three of the new cases are in Zone 1 (Moncton region), six are in Zone 2 (Saint John region), 12 are in Zone 3 (Fredericton region), 23 cases are in Zone 4 (Edmundston region), nine are in Zone 5 (Campbellton region), and three are in Zone 6 (Bathurst region).
With 64 new recoveries also reported, the active caseload in New Brunswick now stands at 650.
There are 41 people being treated in hospital due to the virus, and 16 people are in an ICU.
79.3 per cent of eligible New Brunswickers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and 88.1 per cent have received their first dose of a vaccine.
