A positive case of COVID-19 at Loch Lomond School in Saint John means a day off for students on Wednesday.
The Anglophone South School District announced Wednesday that there would be no classes at the school for an “operational response day.”
“Closing the school allows time to work with Public Health for contact tracing,” Jessica Hanlon, communications director for the district, said in an email to our newsroom.
The school is expected to reopen on Thursday, according to Hanlon.
Students at Sussex Elementary and Apohaqui Elementary schools were dismissed early on Tuesday after a COVID-19 case was confirmed at each school.
Both schools reopened to students on Wednesday.
Loch Lomond School will have no classes for students today, September 29, for an operational response day.
