Some drivers will be paying a bit less to fill up their vehicle’s fuel tank on Thursday.
Regular self-serve is now selling for a maximum price of $1.408 per litre in New Brunswick.
That is a drop of 0.2 cents after the weekly setting by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.
Diesel prices climbed by 2.6 cents to a new maximum price of $1.456 per litre.
Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
This time last year, regular self-serve was selling for a maximum of $1.007 per litre, while the most you were paying for diesel was 98.7 cents per litre.
Meanwhile, furnace oil is now selling for a maximum of $1.278 per litre, an increase of 2.7 cents.
Propane prices climbed by just over three cents to a new maximum of $1.249.
