We will have to wait a bit longer for this year’s Greater Saint John Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
It was supposed to take place on Nov. 6, but officials have decided to postpone it until next spring due to COVID-19.
Six people will be inducted, including the late Bruce Melanson, the highest-drafted Saint Johner in NHL history.
Fencing champion Rick Gosselin and basketball player Cynthia Johnston will also be inducted, along with on-court basketball official Malcolm (Seward) Neilsen, curler Charlie Sullivan Jr., and boxing coach Kevin Watson.
The Greater Saint John Sports Hall of Fame is located in the lobby of TD Station.
