Record highs at the pumps are possible for drivers in New Brunswick with prices likely climbing heading into Thanksgiving weekend.
Dan McTeague, president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, says gasoline may jump by about three cents per litre.
Diesel could go up over four cents per litre.
The Energy and Utilities Board will adjust prices at midnight.
McTeague adds these hikes could put prices at levels not seen since September 2008.
