On Wednesday, New Brunswick Public Health reported 71 new COVID-19 cases.
There was another virus-related death, a person 90 and over in the Moncton region.
This brings the total number of deaths in the province to 70.
There are 51 people in hospital due to COVID-19, with 25 in an intensive care unit.
The active caseload now stands at 775, but there were another 77 recoveries reported.
Public Health reported 21 new cases in the Fredericton region, 10 cases in the Moncton zone, and seven in the Saint John region.
There were also 15 cases in the Edmundston region, 12 cases in the Bathurst zone, five in the Campbellton region, and one in the Miramichi zone.
Of the new cases, 70.4 per cent are unvaccinated, 9.9 per cent are partially vaccinated, and 19.7 per cent are fully vaccinated.
As of Wednesday, 80.9 per cent of eligible New Brunswickers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and 89.9 per cent have received their first dose of a vaccine.
