Police in Saint John have identified a suspect connected to a break and enter at a home in the city’s south end last month.
Officers responded to a call on Wentworth Street shortly before 8 a.m. on Sept. 8. Not too long after, police arrested a 23-year-old woman who was in breach of a court order in the uptown.
The woman was arrested for possession of stolen property after officers found items believed to be stolen from the earlier break-in.
The woman appeared in court on Sept. 9 to answer to her failure to comply with conditions on a judge’s release order. She will appear before a judge in April 2022 to answer to a single charge of break and enter.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
