That is an increase of 2.7 cents after the weekly setting by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.
Diesel prices climbed by 2.9 cents to a new maximum of $1.55 per litre, though most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
This time last year, the maximum price for regular self-serve was 99.8 cents per litre while the most you would pay for diesel was $1.003 per litre.
Meanwhile, furnace oil prices climbed by three cents this week to a new maximum price of $1.373 per litre.
Propane prices are also up by around three cents to a new maximum of $1.306.
