Kennebecasis Valley Fire Department Responded To Fire On Friday Afternoon

At approximately 4:30 p.m. Friday, Kennebecasis Valley Fire Department responded to a structure fire in a trailer park on Parkside Drive in Quispamsis.

Division Chief Shawn White said firefighters had to force entry through a driveway, where they found two vacant mobile homes fully involved with fire.

“[The fire was] extending to another mobile home. Crews were able to quickly extinguish it.”

Fire crews from Hampton, Nauwigewauk, and the Kingston Peninsula were called in to help, as well as an excavator “to help remove the debris so we could fully extinguish the fire.”

Crews fought the flames for roughly three hours but no one as injured. White said the fire is considered suspicious and police are currently investigating.

Approximately 20 firefighters responded to the call.
