Starting next month only people who are fully vaccinated will be allowed to step foot in the House of Commons.
The vaccine mandate has been ordered by the Board of Internal Economy and was announced by House Speaker Anthony Rota late Tuesday night.
The rule will be put into place for when Parliament resumes on November 22nd.
It could pose a challenge for the Conservative Leader as Erin O’Toole has not disclosed how many of his MPs are fully vaccinated.
He has personally supported vaccinations, but has opposed making them mandatory.
All other parties say their MPs have rolled up their sleeves twice to get a Health Canada-approved vaccine.
