New Brunswick Public Health reported 22 new cases of COVID-19 and three virus-related deaths on Monday.
A person in their 40s in the Moncton region has died along with two people in their 80s — one from the Edmundston region and the other from the Campbellton area.
There are four new cases in the Moncton area, four are in the Saint John zone, and five are in the Fredericton region.
Elsewhere in the province, there are eight new cases Edmundston region, and one new case in the Bathurst area.
Thirty-nine people are in hospital due to the virus, 14 are in an ICU. There are 589 active cases after 57 recoveries.
83.9 per cent of eligible New Brunswickers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and 92.2 per cent have received their first dose of a vaccine.
Since Friday, the province reported 17 cases at 10 schools, including at Centre scolaire Samuel-de-Champlain, École Sainte-Thérèse, Forest Glen School, Lou MacNarin School, Moncton High School, St. Stephen Middle School, and St. Stephen High School.
There have now been 392 cases impacting 108 schools since the school year began.
