World-renowned environmentalist Dr. David Suzuki is scheduled to give a virtual presentation at Mount Allison this week.
An award-winning scientist, Suzuki’s presentation is titled “We boast of our intelligence. How the hell did we get into this mess?”
“We are so excited to virtually welcome Dr. Suzuki to our campus as part of this year’s President’s Speakers Series,” says Dr. Jennifer Tomes, Mount Allison Dean of Science and Chair of the 2021-22 Series committee.
The annual series features notable speakers from across the globe who speak on issues of current interest or importance.
Suzuki’s presentation begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, and interested parties can register for online access to the event.
Mount Allison will broadcast the presentation at Convocation Hall in Sackville, with masking and proof of vaccination required to attend.
