One person was killed Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 11, just south of Bouctouche.
Richibucto RCMP Cpl. Eric Friel says one of the drivers died at the scene of the crash around 12:30 p.m.
A section of the highway between Exit 27 and Exit 29 was closed for several hours and traffic was diverted.
The highway has since reopened.
No other information has yet been released.
