An intense fall storm brought more than 50 millimetres of rain to several communities in southern New Brunswick.
Environment Canada said Mechanic Settlement, near Fundy National Park, reported 93 millimetres of rain as of around 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Nearby Sussex reported around 67 millimetres of rain while Saint John picked up about 70 millimetres.
In southwestern regions, nearly 50 millimetres fell in Grand Manan while St. Stephen saw close to 30 millimetres.
Moncton reported around 32 millimetres of rain as of early Tuesday and forecasters were calling for another five millimetres before it changes over to a bit of snow.
Elsewhere in the province, Fredericton received about 38 millimetres of rain while northern parts of the province recorded 20 to 40 millimetres.
