New Brunswick Public Health reported 75 new cases of COVID-19 and one virus-related death on Tuesday.
A person in their 60s from the Fredericton region has died, bringing the total number of deaths to 123.
There are 40 new cases in the Moncton region, 13 in the Saint John area, nine in the Fredericton health zone, one in the Edmundston area, and 12 in the Miramichi region.
Across the province, there are now 665 active cases of the virus after 56 more recoveries. That includes 257 active cases in the Moncton area and 124 in the Saint John region.
Forty-five people are being treated in the hospital and 18 of them require an intensive care unit.
Public Health said of those in hospital, nine contracted the virus while hospitalized for other reasons due to the ongoing outbreaks at The Moncton Hospital.
So far, 87.5 per cent of the eligible population is fully vaccinated, and 93.4 per cent has received at least one dose.
