The Dorchester Penitentiary is a medium security prison in Dorchester, N.B.
An inmate’s death has been reported at Dorchester Penitentiary.
Correctional Service Canada issued a statement regarding the death on Tuesday.
According to the service, on November 27, Glen Farrow, an inmate in the minimum security unit of the penitentiary died while in the custody of apparent natural causes.
At the time of death, Farrow had been serving a sentence of 12 years, three months, and 29 days for manslaughter since September 18.
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified.
