New Brunswick Public Health reported 55 new cases of COVID-19 and one virus-related death on Tuesday.
A person in their 70s in the Fredericton health zone has died.
The Moncton, Saint John, and Fredericton health zones are each reporting 16 new cases of the virus.
Elsewhere in the province, there is one new case in the Campbellton region, and six in the Miramichi area.
The rate of new cases is 3.6 per 100,000 for the fully vaccinated, 10.9 per 100,000 for the partially vaccinated, and 15.2 per 100,000 for the unvaccinated.
Of those currently in hospital, the rate is 5.1 per 100,000 for the fully vaccinated, 13.6 per 100,000 for the partially vaccinated, and 21.2 per 100,000 for the unvaccinated.
Among those in the ICU, the rates are 0.7 per 100,000 for the fully vaccinated, 2.7 per 100,000 for the partially vaccinated, and 9.1 per 100,000 for the unvaccinated.
Active cases across the province stand at 667, with 226 in the Moncton area, and 170 in the Saint John health zone.
There are 66 patients in the hospital, 15 require an ICU.
81.7 per cent of the eligible population are fully vaccinated, 86.7 per cent have their first dose.
