A Sea Dog is being praised for his on-ice performance.
The Canadian Hockey League has announced the eighth edition of its team of the week for the 2021-22 regular season.
It is based on individual performances from November 22 to 28.
Defenceman William Villeneuve was named to the team of the week after an impressive five points in two appearances, highlighted by a 9-2 thriller versus Rouyn-Noranda on Thursday, Nov 25.
During that game, Villeneuve, a Toronto Maple Leafs prospect put up one goal and two assists.
So far this season, Villeneuve, the 19-year-old from Sherbrooke, Quebec has collected two goals and 15 assists for 17 points in 20 showings.
