A Sea Dogs forward is heading to Calgary.
Hockey Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), has announced 35 players have earned an invitation to Canada’s National Junior Team selection camp.
Among the participants, eight are from the QMJHL, including Saint John Sea Dogs Forward William Dufour.
So far in the 2021-22 QMJHL season, Dufour has 18 goals, and 20 assists in 23 games played.
The selection camp runs from December 9 to 12 in Calgary.
The 2022 World Junior Championship begins on Boxing Day in Edmonton.
Canada will kick off the tournament against the Czech Republic.
