Fuel prices in New Brunswick are up again on Thursday, one day after taking a significant drop.
The maximum price for regular self-serve in the province now sits at $1.446 per litre.
That is an increase of five cents after the weekly setting by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.
Diesel prices climbed by 5.3 cents overnight to a new maximum of $1.485 per litre.
Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
Prices for both fuels fell by nine cents a litre or more on Wednesday after the board invoked its interrupter clause.
Meanwhile, the price for furnace oil jumped by 5.3 cents overnight to a maximum of $1.305 per litre.
Propane, on the other hand, fell by 3.4 cents to a maximum price of $1.206 per litre.
Fuel prices are reset every Wednesday night in New Brunswick.
