A 27-year-old man wanted by police for driving the wrong way on Route 1 in September is back in police custody.
On September 21st, police stopped a driver who they believed was suspended.
The driver took off going the wrong way on Route 1.
Calvin Patrick Burns-Smith later turned himself in.
He was charged with dangerous driving, flight from police, and assaulting a peace officer but failed to appear for a court appearance meaning an arrest warrant was issued from Saint John Provincial Court.
He entered guilty pleas on all charges.
Burns-Smith was arrested on Thursday by RCMP and he’ll be in court at a later date.
