Police in Saint John have released the latest Festive R.I.D.E. statistics.
More than 3,000 vehicles came through checkpoints between Thursday and Saturday.
A total of 222 drivers completed alcohol screening tests.
Four arrests were made, including one for impaired driving, two for refusal, and another for not attending court.
Two people were issued seven-day suspensions and five vehicles were towed, which includes three that were impounded for 30 days.
Four tickets were issued under the Provincial Offences Procedures Act.
The Festive R.I.D.E. continues this month in an effort to reduce impaired driving, prevent injuries and educate motorists.
It’s a collaborative effort involving the Saint John Police Force, the Department of Justice and Public Safety, and MADD Canada.
