The Rothesay Avenue location of Vito’s Restaurant is set to close on Jan. 1, 2022.
The Georgoudis Family made the announcement on Monday in a Facebook post, citing the hardship associated with the pandemic.
“The past 22 months have been a difficult time for not only the restaurant industry but for everyone. We have been so fortunate to have such loyal and supportive customers and we are humbled by this, daily,” read the post.
“As we enter our 50th year and navigate this new normal, we know that with progress comes growth and change. With this, we want to announce that our Rothesay Avenue location will be closing on January 1st, 2022. Our other two locations in Uptown Saint John and in KV will continue to operate and be of service.”
The post also said the restaurant chain is not going anywhere, but they are looking for a new location for the Rothesay Avenue restaurant in order to better serve everyone.
“We will surely miss the Rothesay Avenue location, and we hope to see you all before the year’s end to relive some of the precious memories we’ve held so close to our hearts for the last 17 years,” said the post.
While thanking their “wonderful customers,” the Georgoudis Family said they look forward to making new memories in a brand new location.
To our wonderful Vito’s customers:The past 22 months have been a difficult time for not only the restaurant industry…
