N.S. Man Wanted On Warrant Arrested In N.B.

A Nova Scotia man wanted on a province-wide warrant has been arrested here in New Brunswick.

Mounties say Shawn Kenneth Hughes, 27, of South Branch, N.S., was taken into custody on Wednesday.

The arrest came as the New Brunswick RCMP Emergency Response Team searched a home in Cocagne.

Hughes was wanted in relation to several offences, including arson, assault, and uttering threats for alleged incidents in the Colchester area between April and December.

Colchester County District RCMP will be returning Hughes back to Nova Scotia to appear in Truro Provincial Court.
