It is going to be a wet Wednesday across parts of southern New Brunswick.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Saint John and County, Grand Manan and Coastal Charlotte County, and Fundy National Park.
Forecasters say rain will begin Wednesday afternoon and become heavy at times in the evening before ending overnight.
“The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall,” the weather agency said in a statement.
Around 25 millimetres is expected, with locally higher amounts in areas of heaviest rain.
The Kennebecasis Valley, Sussex, and Fredericton will see around 15 to 20 millimetres of rain, with a risk of snow and freezing rain to start.
