A man has died following a pedestrian/tractor-trailer collision on Route 105.
Around 7 p.m. on Monday night, Oromocto RCMP were called to a collision which police believe occurred when the driver of the tractor-trailer left the road and struck a man standing in his driveway.
A 62-year-old man from Maugerville died at the scene from his injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, the only person in the vehicle, was not hurt.
Mounties continue to investigate what happened with the help of an RCMP collision reconstructionist.
The man’s exact cause of death will be determined through an autopsy.
