New Brunswick has recorded another four deaths because of COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 182.
The deaths involve patients in their 70s and 80s in the Moncton, Saint John, Fredericton and Edmundston health zones.
The number of people in the hospital has decreased by one from yesterday to 103. Eleven of those patients are in the intensive care unit.
Of those currently hospitalized, 52 were admitted for reasons other than COVID-19.
Eighty-two people are over 60 and two people are 19 or under.
Through PCR testing, Public Health has reported 426 new cases and 822 recoveries.
The Moncton zone has 145 new cases while the Saint John area adds 96.
A total of 756 positive test results were submitted through rapid tests.
As of Friday, 83.3 per cent of eligible New Brunswickers have had two doses of a COVID vaccine, 91.1 per cent have had one dose and 29.8 per cent have had a booster dose.
The rate of new cases is 55.9 per 100,000 for the fully vaccinated, 17.2 per 100,000 for the partially vaccinated, and 67.4 per 100,000 for the unvaccinated.
Of those currently in hospital, the rate is 11.8 per 100,000 for the fully vaccinated, 6.9 per 100,000 for the partially vaccinated, and 25.5 per 100,000 for the unvaccinated.
Among those in the ICU, the rates are 0.8 per 100,000 for the fully vaccinated, 1.7 per 100,000 for the partially vaccinated, and 5.1 per 100,000 for the unvaccinated
Since Monday, Public Health said more than 29,810 appointments have been booked for booster doses of an mRNA vaccine.
The province has announced the New Brunswick Travel Registration Program will no longer be in effect.
It said the move will allow enforcement officers with the Department of Justice and Public Safety to focus on ensuring people and businesses comply with Level 3 measures.
