Due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 restrictions in the communities it serves, the Q league has delayed play again.
In a statement on it’s website, the league says because there isn’t a “clear timeline on COVID-19 restrictions being eased”, it has postponed it’s return to play plans.
Game were set to return next week and now the regular season will resume on February 1st.
Work continues to reschedule all postponed games.
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League said it has a primary objective to have every franchise play their full 68-game schedule.
Initially scheduled for a return in the week of January 17, the #QMJHL regular season will now resume on February 1.
