A single-vehicle crash in Salisbury on Sunday night has left a 70-year-old woman dead.
A news release states members of the Caledonia Region RCMP, along with Ambulance New Brunswick and Salisbury Fire Department, responded to a crash on the Trans-Canada Highway around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday.
The 70-year-old woman from Barrie, Ont. was transported to hospital where she died from her injuries.
Mounties said two other passengers, a 61-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, were also transported to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the woman’s exact cause of death.
