Police say a 48-year-old man from Quispamsis has died after a snowmobile crash in northwestern New Brunswick.
Emergency crews were called to a snowmobile trail near Route 105 in Tobique Narrows around 1 a.m. Saturday, according to the RCMP.
“The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver of the snowmobile, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, lost control of his vehicle and collided with a tree,” Mounties said in a news release Saturday.
Police said the driver of the snowmobile died at the scene from his injuries.
An autopsy will be performed to determine exactly how the man died.
