It looks like some of us will be in for a bit of rain on Tuesday night.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for the Fundy coast.
The warning includes Saint John and County, Grand Manan and Coastal Charlotte County, and Fundy National Park.
Snow on Tuesday evening is expected to change to rain at times heavy overnight.
Forecasters said we could see 25 to 35 millimetres before it tapers to showers Wednesday morning.
“Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible,” said the warning from Environment Canada.
Areas like the Kennebecasis Valley, Sussex, St. Stephen and Fredericton are expecting around 10 to 15 millimetres of rain.
Wind gusts between 60 and 80 kilometres per hour are expected Tuesday night and Wednesday, with highest gusts forecast to be Wednesday morning along the Fundy coast.
Temperatures will remain well above freezing through the day Wednesday but will drop to around -12°C on Wednesday night.
