Police say air support has been brought in to help with the search for a missing 27-year-old man from Chipman.
Brandon Donelan was last seen near Parkhill Road and Red Bank Drive in Red Bank on the evening of Jan. 27.
According to investigators, he was reported missing to police three days later on Jan. 30.
In a news release, police said an RCMP helicopter would be in the Chipman-Minto area Wednesday searching for Donelan from the air.
Cpl. Hans Ouellette said the Major Crime Unit is also involved to determine whether criminality may have been a factor in his disappearance.
“We are working diligently to find out what happened to Brandon Donelan, and that means using the resources we have available to get answers,” Ouellette said in the release.
People in the Chipman-Minto area are being asked to check their properties for any signs of Donelan, or anything that may appear out of place or suspicious.
Donelan is described as being about 5’5″ tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with blue and green eyes, short light brown hair, and a large tattoo on his left arm.
He was last seen wearing an orange tuque, a grey Carhartt coat, blue jeans, and black ankle boots.
“If you find articles of clothing that match what Brandon was last wearing, or anything that may help the investigation, please call police right away,” said Ouellette.
Police said they also want to talk to anyone who may have seen or spoken to Donelan after Jan. 27, or who may have information on his movements that evening.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP at 506-357-4300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
