New Brunswick recorded three additional deaths related to COVID-19 over the weekend according to the provincial dashboard which was updated on Monday.
Public Health says the deaths include one individual in their 70s in the Moncton region, another individual in their 70s in the Edmundston region and someone in their 90s in the Bathurst region.
The provincial death toll is now 304.
The number of patients in hospital connected to the virus is 89 which is a jump of 17 from Friday.
Of that total, 47 individuals were admitted to hospital for COVID-19 while 42 were admitted for other reasons.
Three patients require intensive care while two need a ventilator – both figures are unchanged.
The number of health care workers who are isolating related to COVID-19 has increased to 443.
The province recorded 1,065 PCR tests with positive results and 1,382 rapid tests.
The active case count on Monday was 3,542.
In terms of vaccinations, 87 percent of eligible New Brunswickers have had both doses of a COVID vaccine while 49.9 percent have had a booster shot.
