Wednesday morning’s snow means a late start for thousands of students across southern New Brunswick.
The Anglophone South School District said all buses will be running on a one-hour delay, but schools will be open on time.
Francophone South School District buses in the Saint John and Quispamsis areas are also running on a one-hour delay this morning.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for southern and southeastern New Brunswick.
Forecasters said between 10 and 15 centimetres of snow is possible Wednesday morning, with snowfall rates potentially approaching five centimetres per hour during the rush hour.
“Conditions will improve quickly as the snow moves east later this morning,” said the statement.
