As many as 30 community organizations in southwestern New Brunswick could get a financial boost this year.
The Fundy Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2022 community funding opportunities.
Kirsten Rouse, executive director of the foundation, said they expect to have more than $115,000 in funding to disburse — enough to support between 20 and 30 community organizations.
“We are passionate about the work that we do on behalf of our donors and so very grateful for their commitment to bettering the lives of those living in our community,” Rouse said in a news release.
The grants program supports projects in the areas of arts, culture, heritage, health and well-being, education, environment, and social services.
Rouse said the foundation has disbursed more than $2.5 million to charitable organizations since 1993.
Applications are being accepted until March 31. You can find more details on the foundation’s website by clicking here.
