The Alberta Country Music awards were held last night Live on YouTube. Aaron Goodvin took to his socials this weekend to thank them for naming him this year’s Male Artist of the Year.
He shared a clip of he and some of the other nominees singing Lonely Drum Back stage. He said in his post, I love where I’m from and I love country music!
Elle King has a killer hit with Miranda Lamber in Drunk and I dont wanna go home.
We all wondered what she’d do next. Well, She’s got her new album out and it rides the rails between “edge and twang”. Here’s a bit of her new sassy southern rock single “Out Yonder”
Carly Pearce wrote the songs on 29: Written in Stone about her real-life experiences with navigating divorce and grief. Once she put out the project, though, she began to realize that through sharing her stories, she’d helped fans tap into their own, and she began to connect with her listeners more deeply than ever before.
Case in point: Pearce encountered two very special fans during a stop on her The 29 Tour in Albany, N.Y. on Saturday night (March 19.) They were holding a cardboard sign… As Carly got closer to it she realized what it said. “‘We’ve dated the same guy for 2 years. You saved us!'” the sign reads. She was so moved by the story, she shared a hug and snapped a couple photos with the fans after the show.
Meet Tara & Ashley. During my show last night, I kept seeing a girl flashing a cardboard sign at me, but I couldn’t read it from stage. I finally stopped the show & asked her what it said. “We’ve dated the same guy for 2 years. You saved us!” Wow. The power of music 🥲♥️ pic.twitter.com/9HTgMLWdD8
