Mickey Guyton recently signed on to host A Capitol Fourth, the 4th of July celebration on PBS, and she is super excited about it.
When asked how she always celebrated the 4th of july growing up – “Because Fourth of July was always so crazy, we would have ‘Fifth of July’ so that we could actually celebrate. We would always go out to my friend’s house in the country and just shoot off fireworks. And it was just one of my favorite times, getting together and celebrating with your friends and family and America. It was always super cool.”
Luke Bryan popped up in an unexpected place over CMA Weekend
He was a surprise guest during the Spotify House showcase, which took place at Ole Red, the Blake Shelton-owned bar.
The showcase took place just across the street from Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge, a bar and live music venue that the singer opened in 2018
Both Bryan and the Ole Red crowd seemed to have a great time when he hit the stage: A clip of his set shows him rocking out to a wall-to-wall crowd during a performance of his hit, “One Margarita.”
