Sharing a photo of your favourite way to discover Greater Saint John could win you some gas money.
Envision Saint John needs your help as it compiles a list of 500 reasons to visit the region.
The regional growth agency is looking for submissions from residents and visitors alike.
CEO Paulette Hicks said all you need to do is share photos of your favourite ways to discover the region.
“Tell us the things that you’re enjoying doing, what you love about the region, and that’s really how we mine for creative and unique things to do in the region,” Hicks said in a phone interview.
One winner will be selected each week to receive $500 in gas gift cards. A total of $5,000 in prizes are up for grabs.
Each winner will also be featured in a blog series highlighting their love for Greater Saint John.
“We were influenced, obviously, because we know that’s a pain point. We just wanted to offer a bit of relief and give one reason to come to our region.”
“We look forward to capturing some hidden gems and elevating classic adventures through this initiative.”
500 Reasons to Discover Saint John & the Towns By The Bay launched on Canada Day and will run for 10 weeks until September 8.
It will run on Facebook and Instagram through Envision Saint John’s destination channel, @DiscoverSaintJohn.
