Dustin Lynch just took another major step toward becoming a licensed pilot: The country singer completed his first solo flight.
After a few more hours and a few more solo flights, Lynch will be ready for his check ride. Once he passes that, he will officially be licensed.
Dustin has already purchased his own plane! He joins other country artists like Dierks Bentley, Tim McGraw, and Alan Jackson who have their licenses.

Fans of Blake Shelton’s early days are in for a real treat!
Today he’s releasing a new single called “No Body” that he says is a throwback to the heyday of ’90s country.
He shared his throwback vibe and the cover art on social media. The photo shows him in a ’90s country getup, complete with a black cowboy hat and his signature early-era blond mullet.
“No Body” is out today along with a music video, which was filmed in a bar in the Los Angeles area. Along with the mullet, we hear the video will feature some 90’s line dancing!
