Two senior Mounties are set to testify at the inquiry into the mass shooting in Nova Scotia.
Former assistant commissioner Lee Bergerman will begin the proceedings.
She was the commanding officer at the time of the murders in 2020.
Bergerman retired just before the inquiry began after spending 35 years with the force.
Meantime, Commissioner Brenda Lucki will appear later in the week.
She has been tangled in a political firestorm related to her actions in the days after the shootings in 2020.
The inquiry is back in Halifax after a three-week break.
