Luke Combs – A sweet moment during his show in Bangor, Maine was captured on video over the weekend, when Combs gave $140 to some young concertgoers who held up a sign saying that they stacked wood to pay for their tickets. He emptied his pockets of all his cash for the fans, one of whom was celebrating his 12th birthday.
Eric Church – For Labour Day, he was asked about his first-ever job. His answer: “I sold knives from midnight to 7 or 8am (on Shop at Home). And anytime somebody calls you at 3 or 4am and needs 200 knives for $19.95, it’s automatically an alarming situation…I knew they were drunk”. He said he was the worst salesman in history because he ended up “talking a lot of these people out of it.”
Gabby Barrett — Fresh off her gig as opener for Jason Aldean, she plans to spend September working on her second album and “preparing…before going on maternity leave.” She’s expecting her second child with husband and fellow “American Idol” alum Cade Foehner.
