The Canadian Hurricane Centre in Halifax is keeping a close eye on Fiona.
They say it’s too early right now to predict detailed impacts, but add it’s a storm we should watch closely.
New models indicate we could see its impact Friday into Saturday before it moves to Newfoundland.

The powerful hurricane made landfall in Puerto Rico on Sunday, and caused widespread power outages and flooding. Last reports show roughly 1.5 million people with power.
U.S. President Joe Biden declared a state of emergency as the eye of the storm approached the island’s southwest corner.
