The Saint John Alpines lost their first game in the New Brunswick Senior Baseball League final on Wednesday night.
The visiting Fredericton Royals thrashed the Alpines by a final score of 14-0.
Fredericton jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first and held onto it the entire game.
Corey Kavanaugh had three hits, including a double and a home run.
Saint John still leads the best-of-seven series two games to one.
Game four is scheduled for Friday in Fredericton, and the Alpines will host game five on Saturday.
Both games will begin at 7:30 p.m.
