More information about a stabbing incident near Perth-Andover and Tobique is needed.
RCMP says a 38-year-old man alleges he was flagged down by two individuals on the morning of Tuesday, October 4th while driving on Route 390 in Rowena.
They were standing with their vehicle, the hazard lights on and the hood up.
Police say the man was reportedly assaulted and stabbed. His wallet was taken and the two fled the scene.
The man suffered what are believed to be serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The first individual is described as a man, possibly in his fifties, with a medium build. He had a grey beard and spoke English with no apparent accent.
The second individual is described as a woman, possibly in her late teens to mid-twenties, who was short with a slim build. She had black hair with purple highlights.
The two individuals were travelling in an older model four-door Honda Civic, light grey in colour, with no licence plate. The vehicle was also described as in visibly poor condition, with visible rust spots.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident, who was travelling on Route 390 on October 4 at approximately 9:45 a.m., or who lives in the area and may have surveillance footage from the time of the incident, to contact the Perth-Andover RCMP at 506-273-5000.
