For the second day in a row, the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board has invoked the interrupter clause and raised prices for diesel and furnace oil.
Diesel jumped by 9.4 cents per litre on Saturday which means diesel has increased by almost 39 cents since September 29.
Furnace oil also climbed 9.4 cents per litre overnight which means an increase of nearly 37 cents since September 29.
The price for regular self-serve gasoline did not change.
The current maximum for diesel is $2.385 per litre and the maximum for heating oil isĀ $2.149.
