Vitalité Health Network is reporting a good response to international recruitment efforts so far.
Representatives from the Vitalité Health Network have visited locations including Brussels, London and Dubai in an effort to recruit more healthcare workers…
So far, they say the missions have gone very well, and there has been a keen interest in the career opportunities being offered.
“Our team has received a warm welcome in each city and we have been able to see a keen interest on the ground for the career opportunities we are offering. We have also had a golden opportunity to present the province and the quality of life for people who choose to settle in New Brunswick,” said Frédéric Finn, Vice-President of Employee Experience.
The mission to Belgium resulted in a list of 21 potential candidates. Vitalité is still awaiting the results of visits to London and Dubai.
“The next step now involves meeting with the potential candidates for formal job interviews later this fall,” Finn says.
In a few weeks, teams will be headed to France and Morocco.
The objective is to recruit 325 healthcare workers including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and patient care attendants internationally by the end of 2023.
The missions have been organized jointly with Opportunities NB (ONB) and other partners in the maritime provinces.
