Blake Shelton is stepping down from his role as a coach on The Voice after Season 23, which premieres in 2023.
He shared the sad news with fans on Tuesday explaining that he’s been wrestling with the idea of leaving the show for a while now.
Blake shared his gratitude for those who came into his life thanks to the show and all the contestants who chose him as their coach.
Blake has been part of the show since it first premiered in 2011. He has scored eight wins and coached 15 singers whose songs have hit No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart.
Carly Pearce continues to shine!
Her latest single “What He Didn’t Do” is climbing up the country charts and just landed at No. 99 on Billboards Hot 100. That’s a big move for this country girl from Kentucky. Could be a crossover hit for Carly!
The song embodies Carly’s strength and her truthful storytelling as a songwriter. She says “For me, I wanted to show the rebirth of where I am now in my life,” “This is the last single on “29”. It kind of feels like a wash of what has happened to me and I came out on the other side.”
