The upcoming 2022 CMA Awards are right around the corner! Lots of surprises with this year’s nominees.
Lainey Wilson leads the way with six nominations, but country stars like Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, and Chris Stapleton also show up big!
Miranda Lambert made history with her three nominations, including Album of the Year (Palomino), Entertainer of the Year, and Female Vocalist of the Year. She has racked up a total of 61 career nominations—making her the most nominated female artist in CMA Awards history.
The 2022 CMA Awards are scheduled for Nov. 9 on ABC. Nominees and performers will be announced in the coming weeks. Luke Combs and NFL quarterback Peyton Manning were previously announced as hosts of the 2022 CMA Awards.
A couple sitting in the front row at Luke Combs show Saturday night managed to get his attention and give him the paper.
On that paper had the gender reveal to their first child.
Luke was happy to oblige, as he and his wife Nicole had their first son, Tex, earlier this year on Father’s Day.
You can see mom losing it finding out it’s a boy, and dad seems overwhelmed with emotion as they celebrated with thousands of people finding out what they’re having.
Were pretty sure this boy will be named Luke.
Next year, George Strait is preparing to play his most extensive stadium run in nine years since he completed his two-year “The Cowboy Rides Away” tour in 2014.
Strait has six stadium dates starting May 6 at Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium, and ending Aug. 5 at Tampa, Florida’s Raymond James Stadium.
There is a chance that more cities may be added. All stops will feature Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town.
