A 19-year-old woman has been charged in connection with two break and enter on Germain Street.
Shortly before 10 a.m. on Thursday, Saint John Police officers responded to a
break and enter in progress at a home on Germain Street.
A person told police they came home to find a woman in their apartment.
The suspect took off but the person who called police was able to provide a description.
A little more than thirty minutes later, police were informed a second person had called police saying a woman was inside another apartment in the same building.
The second caller was able to watch their apartment from another location through video surveillance.
A woman was arrested in the area of Canterbury Street and Duke Street.
She was found with stolen items from the second break and enter.
The woman, who gave police a false name at first , was wanted on an outstanding warrant for missing a court appearance.
She was held for a court appearance on Friday.
