Thomas Rhett – thinks it’s “absolutely insane” that ‘Half of Me’ (w/Riley Green) is his 20th #1 hit. In a new interview, he said: “I’m 32 years old. I feel so blessed to just have accomplished what we’ve gotten to do in the last 10 years.” He feels the song is special, too. Not only is it a collab with his buddy Riley, it’s “One of the simplest songs about beer that I think has ever existed.”
Darius Rucker just announced details of his upcoming new album, which will be titled Carolyn’s Boy, in honor of his late mother Carolyn.
“I wanted to name the record Carolyn’s Boy because Mom never got to see any of my success,” he explained.
“She died before any of this happened, so it’s just another homage to the greatest woman I’ve ever known.”
